ABBANK: In response to a CSE query dated August 10, 2026 regarding news published in the online newspaper titled "AB Bank wants to surrender its PD license due to liquidity crisis" (translated from Bengali to English), the company vide its letter dated August 12, 2026 has informed CSE, among others, the following: the Board of Directors of the Bank in the 836th Board meeting held on May 12, 2026 approved to surrender the Primary Dealer (PD) License in line with the voluntary exit clause outlined in the "Guidelines for the Enlistment and Operations of Primary Dealers in Government Securities, 2025 (Amended)."(cont.)
